Dear Families, I hope that everyone had a wonderful week.  I enjoyed seeing everyone at Get The Scoop Night on Tuesday. Since I sent home such a lengthy informational packet earlier in the week, I decided not to send an official newsletter home today. You should see your child's 4th Grade Math and Communication Arts MAP scores in their Friday folder.   Enjoy your weekend! Keenoy’s Pups News                               9-22-17 Dear Families, I hope that everyone had a wonderful week.  Overall the Keenoy family is doing well and staying busy as always.  Jessi just finished up with a very large project at work, so it will be nice for us to have “mom” services back. 😊   Again, thank you for all the BBQ donations for our carnival basket.  Have a wonderful week! Get the Scoop Night Tuesday, September 26th is Paxton Keeley’s “Get the Scoop” Night.  For this event, you’re invited to attend a brief PTA meeting at 6:30 and then visit your child’s classroom to learn about upcoming curriculum and information about our classroom.  Each classroom will offer three fifteen minute sessions to share information with parents. Keenoy’s Pups News                                           9-15-17 Dear Families,      I hope that everyone had a wonderful week.  The Keenoy clan is staying as busy as ever!  Jessi’s job is keeping her very busy this week which means “Daddy Day Care” most evenings.  We’ve managed and I’ve had fun with the kiddos, but dividing and conquering is much preferred! 😊 Thank you for the hurricane donations, great communication, book orders, and for supporting my teaching.  Enjoy your weekend! Paxton T-Shirt Orders PTA order forms will be sent home today.  The due date might be incorrect on the form. The deadline has been extended until Sept. 27th.  The PTA will also have order forms at Get the Scoop Night (Tuesday, September 26 th ). Comet Carnival Again, THANK YOU so much for volunteering your time for this event.  I’m feeling rather proud to be the only teacher with all their volunteer slots filled! Keenoy’s Pups Newsletter                                           9-8-17 Dear Families,      Thanks again for the great start to the year!  I really feel like our classroom community is coming together nicely.  Students genuinely seem to enjoy each other and we have a lot of fun together.       Mrs. Patton (principal) has asked me to represent Paxton Keeley by serving on a District Committee.  This committee will meet five full days during the year and a substitute will be needed.  I am thankful that a former Paxton teacher, Ken Welty, has agreed to sub for our classroom on four of the five days.  Tomorrow (Friday) is the first district meeting.  This is the one day that Mr. Welty could not cover for me, but I'm confident that our class will do a nice job for the substitute.       I plan on sending home the red Friday folders with our newsletter and handouts from the week.  I'm not very confident that I will get all my comments/work study habits completed due

Keenoy’s Pups News                                                9-1-17 Dear Families, Have an enjoyable holiday weekend!  The Keenoy family plans to spend some relaxing time together at home.  The last several weekends have been extremely busy, so I am very excited about staying home and doing chores around the house.  Wow….that just made me feel really old. 😊 Our class is making progress in all areas and I am proud of their positive attitude and cooperation.  They are a very kind group of 5th graders that get along with each other very well. Students are in most of their curricular routines at this point. Comet Carnival Paxton Keeley's biggest school fundraiser is closely approaching on October 6th!  Each class is assigned a "game" to run during the carnival that is from 5:00-8:00 pm. You don't have to supply or make the game! You just show up and help "run" the game which for our class is called "School House Toss".  Si
