March 12th through 16th

Dear Families,         Since this will be the last newsletter before spring break, I hope my students have an enjoyable week off.   Our family looks forward to a relaxing week together.   My wife could save up her vacation time and will have the entire week off with us.       Next week is Spirit Week at Paxton Keeley, with a focus on respect. Each day, our school will be having a celebration. The schedule is in the Friday Folder. Each classroom will also work on a door decoration for a schoolwide contest. Pup of the Week-Hattie H. Hi, my name is Hattie. I live with my mom, dad, and my little sister Clara who is in first grade. I have a dog named Murphy.   He is a Sheepadoodle, which means he is a sheep dog and a poodle mix. I have always loved playing soccer on a competitive team.   Our teams/family travels a lot for tournaments and league games. I look forward to finishing out a great 5 th grade year with my class and Mr. Keenoy.   I c

Keenoy’s Pups News                                            3-19-18  Dear Families,      I hope that everyone had a wonderful week.  The Keenoy family will be traveling to Kansas City for Caleb’s first soccer league games on Sunday.  It looks like it will be a bit chilly, but I think that last weekend’s weather spoiled us a bit.  Have a terrific week and thank you for all that you do. Keenoy Pup of the Week- Bradley H. Hello, I’m Bradley H.  and I am eleven years old.  I love sports and I’m a diver.  I do competitions in April and have one in St. Louis.  I am very athletic and like to flip.  I can do them on the ground and on the trampoline.  My favorite flips are back flips.  I’m the best at those.  In my free time, I am usually on the trampoline or playing video games.  If I do anything outside, it usually includes my friends. Keenoy’s Pups News                                         3-2-18   Dear Families,      I’ve really enjoyed the nice weather this week and playing outside with the kids during extra recess.   Although Caleb’s soccer tournament in Booneville was a lot of fun last weekend, I’m looking forward to a more relaxing weekend at home with the family.   I’m also excited that I get to go to the Mizzou vs. Arkansas game on Saturday.   Hopefully Michael Porter Jr. will play and help us prepare for the NCAA Tournament later this month.   Go Tigers and Blues! Fundraiser The entire school is focusing on a fundraiser prior to Spring Break.   An informational letter explaining the process will be sent home today. T-Shirt Design Students will be able to create and vote for a 5 th Grade T-Shirt design.   Once the design is selected, Diggit will be able to recreate this print for students to buy a t-shirt.   An informational page will be found in your child’s Friday folder.   We plan o
